💗 Chevy Cares: Driving Change Beyond the Dealership
At Chevrolet, caring goes beyond the vehicles we sell and service. Through Chevy Cares, Chevrolet and its dealers are committed to making a difference in communities across the country — supporting causes that touch the lives of customers, employees, families and neighbors.
Chevy Cares focuses on several important areas, including community support, youth activities, military families, disaster relief, and cancer awareness. One of the program’s longest-running commitments is the fight against breast cancer.
🎗️ Driving Toward a Cure
For more than 15 years, Chevrolet has partnered with the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program. Chevrolet dealerships, employees and customers have joined together through fundraising, sponsorships, events and awareness campaigns to support those affected by breast cancer.
That partnership has made a significant impact. Chevrolet says that, together with its dealers, employees and customers, it has contributed more than $23 million to the cause over the past 15 years, supporting cancer research, patient services, screening and early-detection efforts. In 2025 alone, Chevrolet and its participating partners contributed more than $1.8 million.
Chevrolet has also used its iconic vehicles to help bring attention to the cause. From specially decorated pink pace cars at NASCAR events to fundraising campaigns, the brand has found creative ways to turn the Chevrolet name into a symbol of support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
💕 Why It Matters
Breast cancer affects families in communities everywhere. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer remains the most common cancer in women in the United States aside from skin cancers. For 2026, the ACS estimates that more than 321,000 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in the U.S.
Behind every statistic is a person — a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, coworker or neighbor.
That is why awareness and support matter. The American Cancer Society's work includes funding research while also helping patients and families with resources such as transportation to treatment, lodging, cancer information and other support services.
🚗 More Than a Car Company
Breast cancer is just one part of the Chevy Cares mission. Chevrolet also works to support military families, youth and community programs, and communities facing disasters. The overall goal is simple: use the reach of Chevrolet and its dealer network to make a positive difference where people live and work.
As Breast Cancer Awareness Month approaches, Chevy Cares is a reminder that making a difference doesn't always require a grand gesture. Supporting a fundraiser, participating in a local event, sharing information about early detection or simply showing support for someone going through treatment can all help.
Because caring isn't just something you say — it's something you drive forward. 💗
